Patriotic Jeans Skirt - Size 16
Starting with a pair of Earl Jean White Size 16 capri length Jeans with great, rhinestoneostudded back pockets, I added a royal blue/silver metallic striped 'Slinky' Knit skirt, edged in red to create this cute skirt.  A red square neck scarf was cut in half and sewn together lengthwise to create the red waist sash.  
9-18-24: I will soon be writing a Blog post on how I eliminated the crotch curve to make this into a skirt. 
Fiber Content:  Cotton/Lycra White Jeans, Acetate/Nylon/Metallic bottom, polyester sash. 
Recommended Care:  Remove sash to machine wash and dry, turning the garment inside out to protect the studded back pockets
 
Finished Garment Measurements - again Jeans are sized 16.  
Finished Waist:  37"
Side seam length:  27" 
Hip circumverence where blue joins white top, whch is 13" down the side:  43.25"
