Vintage & Clearance Sewing Treasures

Before you shop — a little history worth knowing.

The Stretch & Sew patterns you'll find here aren't just old patterns. They're pieces of American sewing history, created by Ann Person — the Oregon woman who taught the world to sew on knits, built 353 stores worldwide, and was inducted into the American Sewing Guild's Hall of Fame in 2004.

When I ran my sewing store in Champaign, Illinois 1990-2003, carrying her patterns was a point of pride. These specific patterns came to me years later as a generous gift from a fellow sewist in Florida who wanted them to find a good home. Every one is uncut and unused. Some date to 1967 — Stretch & Sew's very founding year.

Free Priority Mail shipping to the contiguous USA on every pattern.

Handmade women's clothing crafted with care by Londa Rohlfing — 54 years of artistry from her Sunroom Sewing Studio in Jackson, TN. Author of sewing books and patterns, creator of instructional DVDs, and teacher of classes in-person, online, and at her sewing escape retreats.
