The base fabric is a soft mauve knit with a subtle 'fur-effect' reverse, making it not only cozy but full of texture. From my personal stash, pieces rich with texture—like the maroon loose-weave raschel knit—are incorporated into the design, each telling its own story. The ‘grey’ fabric, a true labor of love, was created in my shop using a technique with water-soluble stabilizer, combining cotton strips, yarn, and threads, then free-motion embroidered all over. It’s an absolute piece of fiber art that I’m thrilled to see finally shine.
