Women's UP-Cycle Black/Tan Knit Top with Black Flounce (Large)

This garment started as a man's knit shirt. I cut it apart, used it as fabric, and added 1.5" wide black nylon lace to the neckline in a deep V, and the 3/4 length sleeves. This lace also 'binds' the lowermost edge of the brown/black knit top. Black polyester provides the full circle 7" deep flounce that has a cut lower edge.
This top is yet another of the many garments I have made in order to develop a pattern. In this case, I was working on my newest pattern: Trendy Tunic Tops.

Circumference at bust level: 38" stretches to 46"
Circumference at hip where top meets skirt: 41.5" ” down from natural waist:
