Women's Up-Cycle Black/Tan Knit Top with Black Flounce – Large
This unique top started as a men's knit shirt, which I carefully deconstructed and transformed into a stylish new piece. I added a 1.5" wide black nylon lace trim to the neckline, creating a deep V, and also used the same lace to accent the 3/4 length sleeves and the lower edge of the brown/black knit body. The finishing touch is a dramatic black polyester flounce, a full circle 7" deep, with a cut lower edge for a bit of playful flair.
This top was part of my ongoing experimentation to develop my pattern for Trendy Tunic Tops. It combines creativity, comfort, and a touch of sophistication, making it a versatile piece for any wardrobe.
As always, all garments and fabrics are prewashed before I begin my creative process to ensure the best fit and durability.
