Soft Green Women's Medium Mossimo Sweater Upcycle 
 
This lovely green cardigan sweater with face-framing collar is created from 2 green sweaters as an up-cycle project - my favorite type of sewing!  The five thread-covered hooks close the front invisibly - IF YOU WANT IT to be worn closed up - since these hooks are underneath, they are 'hidden', and the sweater will look great hanging open as well.  The finished Garment Measurements given below are taken with the garment hooked together.  The cabling in the sweater used for the front and back gives it interest, and a slenderizing impact for the wearer.  It seems to be cotton.  Though the Mossimo label as shown in the photo says Large, I really think this is more like a Medium - at least I used my Terrific T Top basic pattern in a Medium size from which to cut the cabled sweater into the front and back.

Please compare these measurements to a garment similar in  your wardrobe that fits you as you desire.  This is a knit garment through the body, so realize it will stretch both vertically and even more horizontally.
