Silk Jacquard & Textured Wool Layered Rafaella Shirt/Jacket
 
This piece is a fun and creative layering project that transforms a classic Rafaella Silk Shirt into a versatile, stylish garment. I layered silk jacquard and a textured wool fabric over the original shirt, creating a unique top that can be worn buttoned up or styled as a chic jacket. The original shirt came with shoulder pads, and I can stitch them in by hand if you'd prefer, though I’ll include them regardless for extra structure.
As always, I prewash all garments and fabric before beginning the design process to ensure the perfect fit and durability. This top/jacket is a perfect combination of luxury and comfort, giving you options for both day and evening wear!

FIBER CONTENT: Base shirt (taupe solid) is 100% silk.  Lightest swirly fabric is 100% cupramonium rayon.  Darkest shiny fabric with hatch design is 100% silk jacquard.  Darkest 'wooly' looking texture fabric is 100% wool. 
 
RECOMMENDED CARE: hand wash and hang to dry.  Steam press.

Length at side seam:  19.5"
Length at center back:  29" 
Length at front from shoulder line at neck point to hem: 30"
Length of sleeve from shoulder seam to hem:  22"
 
Circumference at bust level: 44.5"  
Circumference at hemline:  46"  plus the vents hang open for an additional 6" or so, even buttoned up.
