Upcycled Red Cropped Sweatshirt Jacket with Denim & Hand Embroidery
It started as a red sweatshirt and a pair of jeans. What it became is something nobody else on earth is wearing.
The waistband of worn denim jeans was carefully deconstructed and reimagined as a dramatic scooped collar — original button still intact, raw frayed edge intentional and beautiful. That same denim runs down the entire center front placket and frames two generous patch pockets, all hand chain-stitched in bold red thread that ties the whole piece together. The back is clean, elegant red with the denim collar wrapping all the way around.
Cropped. Open front with single button closure at the neckline. Relaxed, wearable, unforgettable.
The collar's lower frayed edge will continue to fray beautifully with each wash — that's not a flaw, that's the art evolving.
One of a kind. Never to be made again.
