The Ruby Aloha Jacket | Size Large

This is the piece that started it all -the one I knew the moment I saw that Aloha-era graphic tee that something truly special was waiting inside it.

The full-front graphic panel is quilted for structure and framed in an asymmetrical wrap design - the closure direction deliberately chosen to follow the direction of the performance image itself. Rich magenta acrylic knit forms the back yoke and right front, while the sleeves are cut from the legs of matching red polyester parachute pants - their original drawstring cuffs repurposed into the most perfect sleeve finish imaginable. A dramatic flame-print collar adds pure fire, and the antique burgundy button with hand-twisted cord closure is a detail worthy of a couture house.

The jacket is fully lined in red polyester with bound armholes throughout — a level of finish you simply do not find in anything but custom-made garments. The silhouette is based on a beloved Vogue Julio Caesar pattern chosen specifically for its perfect collar.

Front to back, inside and out — every decision intentional. Every stitch Londa’s alone.

Fiber Content: Polyester, acrylic, cotton

CARE RECOMMENDATION

Since reds likely 'run', I did take time to 'set' the dyes in fabric.  However, due to the lining and fabric combination, I would highly recommend dry cleaning this garment, or gently hand-washing in cold water, line dry, and careful steam iron touchup.
