I'm Londa Rohlfing - a 74-year-old grandmother with 54 years of sewing experience, teaching kids ages 6 through 18 right here in my Sunroom Sewing Studio in Jackson, TN. For the past 10 years I've watched children and teens discover what their hands can make - and there is nothing quite like it.
This summer I'm offering four select weeks of small-group Sewing Camp, and here's how it works:
The first family to purchase a seat claims this week. Once your payment is received, you work directly with me to establish the age group, skill level, and project focus for the week. Then - together - we find the two additional students needed to make it go. I'll promote actively on social media. You spread the word among your homeschool co-op, your neighborhood, your church friends. It takes a little recruiting, but the result is a small, intentional group your child will love learning alongside.
Sessions run Monday through Thursday, 3 hours per day - either 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Your preference as the founding family. That's 12 hours of hands-on instruction across the week. And if your child hasn't quite finished their project by Thursday - no problem. Friday July 31 is available at no extra charge for that week's campers to come in and complete their work.
Cost: $275 per student. Maximum 3 students. This is intentionally small to allow me to give each student persona instruction, real attention, real results.
Purchase your seat right here to reserve your spot. Payment is accepted online via PayPal or credit/debit card. Prefer another method? Call or text me at 217-369-4687 to arrange payment via Venmo, Cash App, or personal check - your seat is not reserved until payment is received in full.

About Supplies:
For Wee Stitchers, everything is included. For all other groups, I provide thread, elastic, notions, and sewing machines. We pull from my fabric stash as much as possible to keep costs down. Some projects - the Lap Quilt especially - do require students to purchase their own fabric and batting. For garment-based classes I'll point you toward thrift stores and smart shopping strategies. If your child has a sewing machine in good working order and would like to bring it and leave it here for the week, that's welcome.
Studio Policies:
My studio is at 167 Whitfield Drive, Jackson - centrally located and easy for errand-running while your child is in class. Parents are not permitted in the studio during class time. I have an attached living area where you're welcome to wait, but honestly, most families find the week runs more smoothly - and the kids shine more - when they're dropped off and picked up. References are available upon request, and a medical release is required prior to the first day. In ten years of teaching I have not had a single accident.
Before You Commit:
You are warmly invited to visit my Studio and meet me in person before making your purchase. Just call or text 217-369-4687 to set a time.
Cancellation Policy:
This camp week requires 3 enrolled and paid students to hold. The enrollment deadline is Monday, July 13. If three paid students are not confirmed by that date, the week will be cancelled and full refunds issued.
Please note: refunds are issued via business check, PayPal, or Venmo - not as a card reversal, as credit card processing fees are non-recoverable for a small business. Please plan your payment method with this in mind.
