In Utah on Powder Mountain. I guess skiers love the snow they get up here which is like powder. I’ve done the snow ski thing one time in my life – enough for me!
The best thing we found so far – in addition to God’s beauty – is Bear Lake! This lake is clear and the azure aqua blue color of the Caribbean because of sunlight reflecting off suspended particles of calcium carbonate in the water from ancient seas. The north shore beach is lovely, deep sand…the widest beach I’ve ever, EVER seen!!!!! OH, how I wish I’d had my grandson with us – he would – WILL LOVE this beach when can bring him here some day. If you come to north UTAH, do NOT miss this lake and beach!!!
Park City, UTAH has been a mine field for creative sewing ideas. Technology is a real challenge up here – so I’ll have to post those when I get home – or are waiting in an airport…

And – I’m starting a list of kitchen/food things to bring along when going to a resort with kitchen – for some $-saving ideas: Coffee, sugar, oil or butter, tea bags….
