Wonder Tape
Wonder Tape: $6.50 – great sticky stuff that does NOT gum up your needle and washes away! Great to hold trims, zippers, anything in place as you stitch
Glass Head Pins
Glass Head Pins: $8.25 Box of 100 fine pins with glass heads (so won’t melt when press close to) 1.5″ long .5mm diameter. but do NOT waste time fishing them out of this little box!!!……..
Ewesful Wool Pincushion
Ewesful Pin Cushion: $16.99 My absolute FAVORITE pincushion! Large enough and sets FLAT Measures 4″ across and almost 3″ tall. Natural wool so the lanolin gently lubricates your pins!
Thread Heaven: $3.50 My favorite lubricant for thread. Especially when stitching with polyester thread (as I always use on my knit tops), which tends to twist and tangle, Thread Heaven solves the issue. Also adds strength for stitching on buttons.
Chakoner Wheel Marker
Chakoner: $15.00 I only carry in WHITE, as I KNOW that color will wash out, brush off without a trace. LOVE this little gadget. Available with the refill as well, but seems to last FOREVER. Copies exist, but none compare – believe me! My top-selling notion, without a doubt!
5 in 1 Sewing Gauge
5-in-1 Sliding Gauge: $14.95 From Clover by Nancy Zieman. LOVE this thing – and again have one at my machine, one at my pressing surface!
Japanese Sharp Tweezer
Japanese Tweezers: $6.75 One in the sewing room to pull out stubborn threads, the other at my vanity to pull out eyebrows (and other) ‘stray ones’. So sharp that TSA shouldn’t allow on a plane IMHO!
Ballpoint Bodkin
Ball Point Bodkin: $3.95 Helps turn points and corners, and that ‘ball’ on the end is just perfect for starting to turn a tube from the sewn across end. Great for stuffing tiny parts of dolls, etc. as well!
Point Turner
Point Turner Seam Creaser: $2.89 Looks like the bill-sharpening doodad in a bird cage, but this is THE safest tool for getting corners poked out sharply WITHOUT sticking thru the fabric – AND can set a crease like magic.
Chibi Darning Needle Set : $4.75 2 large-eyed needles perfect for ‘tucking’ tails of couched yarns, serging threads, etc. I LOVE the little case – because if I take time to put it BACK IN THE CASE, I won’t lose it! Needle tip doesn’t matter to me – I have both straight and curved points, and will fill order with whichever I have in stock unless you say otherwise in the Notes part of your order.
Loop Turner
Loop Turner: $2.95 Just the perfect tool for turning tubes – with a circular handle to pull and enough length to turn most any tube for clothing. insert the hooked end up through the tube stitched right sides together, latch onto a good hunk at the other end and gently pull….WALA!
Precision Stiletto
Precision Stiletto: $12.95 A new one for my Tool Box, but the silicone tip holds things exactly where I want both while stitching AND pressing! Falling in love…….
