AMAZING Garments at American Sewing Guild Fashion Show

‘A Walk on the Wild Side:  Let Your Creativity Roar’ was the theme of this year’s ASG Conference Fashion Show and I can honestly say that the fashions were AMAZING!  I’ve posted a full 27 photo Album at my Facebook Page.  But here are a few more… worthy of their own Blog Post.  I don’t quilt, but I DO have some old, tattered quilts in my closet.  This really, really tempts me…WHAT, I wonder, would the reaction be if I showed up at the local ballroom dance hall on New Year’s Eve in a gown like one of these?  Hummmmmmm…..

The other dress that AMAZED me was made by Kathy for some local film event.  The commentary shared what films these strips were from – which made it that much more hilarious!  This is all over a black knit simple dress.  She stitched the filmstrips together by hand through the perforations on the edges!  Check out the stapled curled hemline….I LOVE IT!
