Logantex Knit Fabrics – My Favorites!

I’m often asked , “WHERE do you get the fabrics for your knit tops?”  My answer:  here and there and everywhere, but two of my absolute FAVORITE fabrics are from Logantex Fabrics.  Watch for them in your stores (yes, I even found some at Walmart one time!), encourage your quilt shops to add just these 2 knits and ‘see’ if they sell – as I bet they will!  Find them online as well.  I currently have Turquoise and Iris in stock at this link.  Check out www.voguefabricsstore.com as well as they usually stock a good supply.  I know at shows they attend, I’m always sending customers their way.

These tops above are all created using Foxy Lady.  This is a fabric 96% polyester, 4% Spandex, 60″ wide with great drape.  PERFECT for knit tops!!!

Machine wash cool, delicate and tumble dry on low for easy care.

Below, you’ll find garments created from what is currently collectively called a ‘Ponte’.  This is a double knit out of which you can make ANYTHING!  I have tops and jackets and even pants (that do NOT bag at the knee!).  67% polyester, 30% rayon and 3% Spandex is a GREAT combo and same easy care as Foxy Lady.   If you’re starting a SWAP – sewing with a plan – wardrobe, take my advice, and use Sophia as the BASE fabric!!!!
