Summer Sewing Camp June 22-25 1-4 pm
Time is running out to plan/execute a camp for these dates. If you're interested and ready to sign up with at least one other, I need to know by Wed., June 16 for sure.
Monday, Tues., Wed., Thur.,and Fri. if needed
The project is a simple Rail Fence Lap Top Quilt as shown in the image - 45 " x 60"
The fee of $275 is based on a 4 day, 3 hour/day camp. However, if Friday is needed to complete the quilt, that is fine - and at no extra charge.
My experience is that the best minimum age for this class is 11. This IS OK for beginners. OR those with some sewing machine experience. If your child has the desire, I am happy to work with her. However, their legs need to be long enough to easily reach the floor - foot pedal.
Fee is for instruction. A Supply List will be sent upon registration. A total of 4 yards of cotton fabric (divided up among 4-5 fabrics of different quantity) is required, plus a 45 x 60" Fusible Fleece package - i give an Amazon link for the batting. Fabric can be purchased locally at Hobby Lobby or Sew Much More.
