Genesis PLUS 'grows' the patterns previously known as Genesis and Genesis Too™ to include execution on a full-bodied double knit fabric as the base of the jacket.  The design features a classic cardigan neckline created from either a sweatshirt’s lower ribbing, cross grain knit fabric, and combinations of both.  The cardigan style offers a wide range of fit across the jacket front from the addition of the center front/neckline bands.  For a sweatshirt base, a finished 2XL or 3XL size uni-sex sweatshirt is utilized as 'fabric + matching ribbing'.  Directions include adding length at either the yoke or the hemline to suit any length requirements not met in the available sweatshirt 'fabric'.  Fitting, good design principles, embellishment techniques, hem widgets, invisible pockets, flip n' stitch piecing, free motion embroidery and much more are packed into this pattern.  The comprehensive directions make this style suitable for any sewing skill level.

The Bonus 'Talking' aspect of this pattern is NO LONGER AVAILABLE with the website platform change.  The booklet has been written to stand alone with its complete directions.   My Creative Jacket Journey DVD has 1 of the 2 discs completely on this style of jacket.  I highly recommend it if you want to witness the complete design and construction process in other than printed format.
