Distinctive Jacket - Grey Ponte Base/Brocade Trim
Distinctive Jacket - Grey Ponte Base/Jacquard Trim
Londa says: I created this jacket for a book signing at the 2012 Bernina University where I was a 'Sew-lebrity', using the pattern and how-to's from my book: Sweatshirt Transformations. This is the front cover design, but made on a ponte knit fabric base of rayon, poly and lycra. The embellishment is a rayon brocade fabric, and the furry trim is layers of silk. Yarn is also couched on the jacket for further embellishment of the applied fabric areas. The back is gathered slightly and covered with a crushed silk belt. In front, the belt buttons with a vintage grey button. There is even a pocket in the lower left front. This jacket is a cardigan style, and can be worn un-secured with the button. The neckline and center front finish is crushed silver silk.
I would classify this as a medium ’size’.
I do not accept returns on my garments, so check the measurements given below carefully.
Care: machine wash cool, delicate, in a mesh bag with a load of towels and mild soap. Line Dry.
