Sweep up those Pins – Fashionably!

IN mid May, I had the honor of being the day-long speaker for the Michigan Bishop Sewing Council’s annual meeting.  The clever ladies on the committee had created these ‘Pin Sweepers’ from scraps of fabric, ribbon, and buttons.  A piece of fabric with a magnet in the bottom, some batting on top, a quick few stitches – and perhaps a bit of hot glue – created these adorable gifts for EVERY attendee at the meeting!  Typical for sewers’ creativity, they appeared to each be different – UNIQUE, as the talented ladies to whom they were given!
