This is a great pattern of
Louise Cuttings' - By Popular Demand.
I've also made the top - and found it
to be quite nice. I highly recommend this
pattern.
I skipped the pockets - not
wanting them to disappear as they would have done of
the patchwork fabric - NOR wanting them to draw
attention to my hips if I'd made them of the Hot
Pink Minkee. I did do my best to match the
center fronts - but between you and me - they were a
tad off - which led to the stitching on of the
reversible orange/hot pink ribbon (under
Embellishments on my site). This ribbon is
also accenting the shoulder front and back yoke
seams.
I also cut out a quick and
simple Tank from the Pink Minkee, and used the
Lime Cotton/Linen for another Tank and SoHo
Pant.
While at Wally World
yesterday, I picked up a great little V-neck bright
pink cotton/lycra Tee for $6. I spend my time
generally making the more special items - and buy
the EZ, boring ones! :)
