CREATIVE SWEATSHIRT JACKETS BY LONDA For Inspiration...         Here are requested Larger Views of the Jackets in my Book and Patterns My Step-by-Step Book to create any of these jackets as shown on the cover... Enjoy here larger photos of the cover front and back.
January 27, 2010: NOW ADDED VALUE - it is a "TALKING" Book! Just go to the dedicated webpage as listed in paragraph 3 on the inside front cover to access my verbal tutorial that adds IMMENSE VALUE to this popular book!

Techniques to create 4 of the jackets found in this book (exception being the Fuchsia "Esther" jacket) are also found in my Ultimate DVD. However, only in this book will you find them in a step-by-step format.  'Lydia' and "Miriam' are also found in the Genesis pattern. Pattern Jackets - larger photos.
The above 4 jackets are from my WORTHY pattern. This style came AFTER the Ultimate DVD. None of these are in the Ultimate DVD. I recently made a new Worthy that has caused rave reviews - here it is - and details are in the new TALKING Version of this pattern!Â
 Â
       Â
The 3 jackets above are from the REFINED pattern. This pattern came AFTER the Ultimate DVD, so none of these jackets are in the Ultimate DVD.  This pattern will become a Talking Patternâ„¢ sometime in August of 2010. When that happens, you will have access to that additional value at the SAME URL as is given in the current pattern.Â
              Â
The 3 jackets above are from the PROMISED pattern.  Again - this style came AFTER the Ultimate DVD, so none of these are in my Ultimate DVD. The little girl's jacket is only in size 4T, but seeing it and the pattern process, if you have sewing capabilities, you can do the same on any style for any size.  This pattern is NOT in the talking format. It is available ONLY in pdf delivery format.Â

The 4 jackets above are from the GENESIS pattern - available now only in pdf delivery format.   They ARE included in the DVD, and also the 2nd and 4th ones are in the printed book - Creative Sweatshirt Jackets-Londa's Way.
The 4 jackets above are from my CELEBRATION pattern. Effective January 27, 2010, this is a "Talking" Pattern - so enjoy my verbal tutorials for every step of the process! Â

The 3 jackets above are from the TRANSFORMED pattern. Effective January 27, 2010, this is a "Talking" Pattern - so enjoy my verbal tutorials for every step of the process!  The techniques for the 3 necklines - created from the lower band of the original sweatshirt - ARE inthe Ultimate DVD, HOWEVER, if you want step-by-step directions to create jackets exactly as these, I suggest you get the pattern booklet. This is my favorite pattern to use in hands-on workshops, and most people select the easy-to-wear cardigan style neckline as seen in the 3rd periwinkle jacket - then embellishing the jacket as their collection of fabrics and trims leads them. The neckline of this jacket can also be made to stand up, framing the face if it is just appoied in a 1:1 ratio, rather than being stretched as shown - thus hugging the neck.      AND... Deborah from back of the book: Creative Sweatshirt Jackets...Londa's Way
These 2 jackets above and Deborah from the printed book as stated above are all in my UNITY pattern. The technique/idea of splitting a sweatshirt across the middle and adding a fitted bottom or something else - like jeans - is on the Ultimate DVD. However, for step-by-step for the jackets above, purchase the UNITY pattern.  There are a few left in the printed format as of May 26, 2010. When those are gone, it will be available only via pdf delivery. The idea of using sweaters on my jackets will be pursued more completely in a new pattern some time in late 2010 or 2011.Â

These 3 jackets above are found in my UNITY pattern. Â Since this style must be worn closed up to look good - consider it more of a 'top' than a 'jacket'. This pattern is ONLY available via PDF delivery. Â Â

These jackets are all to be found in my newest pattern - CHOSEN - which features my 'talking' you through all the steps on the dedicated webpage associated with this pattern.
The above jackets are from my LIVING pattern. - also in the Talking Patternâ„¢ format.  The first jacket was previously offered as a promotional pattern. It is now called 'Peace'. The second jacket is called 'Endurance' as in pink and red, it commemorates those women who battle breast cancer and heart disease. On the center front, I've created an area perfect for a special heirloom-special pin of some type. The third jacket makes use of a large square scarf! It is called Journey and also offers an amazing and stylish way of decreasing the width of the arm to body seam and at the same time creating a stylish seam in the sleeve. The ruffle accent can easily be skipped. With my tithe of proceeds of thise pattern and YOUR donations at www.firstgiving.com/londasdrillawell we will drill a well for a needy village in Africa through World Vision.  Â
    Â
GENESIS Too™ has just released July 1, 2010. In the Talking Pattern™ format... I've developed this off-shoot of the cardigan style from my Transformed pattern in response to the specific needs I've seen in workshops as I've traveled the country teaching. It is PERFECT for a class situation, and also for a beginning project!  Teaching Plans are even available for this design! It calls for you to use a size 2XL sweatshirt and to cut it apart and re-cut using the Front, Back and Sleeves given in the pattern - actual pattern pieces!

Creative Jacket Journey is a new TWO disc DVD (released September 2010) that chronicles each and every decision and construction step of creating the 2 jackets as seen above.Â
My friend Gloria created the Bay colored sweatshirt (Triumph) with my Genesis Tooâ„¢ pattern, and I created the aqua jacket (Harmony with my Worthyâ„¢ pattern.Â
