That's an XL on my Medium Body Clone Dressform, so don't judge the fit please - but I created this from scraps of other projects.  The pattern is Peony from Revisions - by Diane Ericson.

Look closely at the lapel - free motion stitching echoing the embroidered linen motif:

Here is how I did it:  To transfer the pattern for free motion 'quilting'..... I learned this technique from April Dunn years ago.

1. Do a "rubbing"  with pencil side on tissue paper of the motif on the embroidered linen
2. Drop feed dogs at unthreaded machine and trace the tracing to punch holes in the tissue.  Here is how mine looks.....

3. Make a 'pouncer' of a loosely woven fabric scrap with Chalkoner Refill powder in it - rubber band to hold closed. Lay pattern with holes in it now over the fabric (right side) and pounce so powder shows up on fabric where holes are in tissue.
4. Pad with scrap of quilt batting and proceed to free motion with monofilament thread
