"Attach your fabric samples to a 4 3/4" x 2 3/8" Shipping Tag.  On the back, write
Description, Fiber content, Care, Width, Yardage (subtract amounts as you use).
You will still have room for Notes such as Vendor, purchase price and planned use.  The shipping tag has a reinforced hole that fits easily onto a ring.  The ring (or rings!) are easy to store, or take shopping, or to the laundry room, or to play with.  I also have one tag with the yardage required for my favorite basic patterns (skirt, blouse, pants, jackets, tank, sweater, etc.)  "
