Londa's Shipping and Payment Policies Shipping Since I'm blessed to have a US Post Office in my backyard...therefore that is my preferred method of shipping. Priority Mail is the norm as it includes a tracking system with the labels I make using the USPS Click n' Ship program. Occassionally large shipments go UPS or FED EX. Shipping your order as quickly and efficiently as possible is my goal. Since it would be ridiculous to weigh every item, I have adopted a chart of shipping costs based upon your order subtotal. You will find that, over time, it balances out. Some shipments cost me more than the customer has paid, some less. If you've paid siginificantly more with your order, I frequently include a rebate with your order. Especially, if your order can safely ship in via regular First Class, I do that and rebate the difference. Rebates are usually in the form of my business check. Sometimes, I catch this before your credit card total 'batches' and I can just reduce the charge. However, to actually issue a CREDIT to your credit card costs me the discount rate AGAIN that I paid to get your money in the first place - that is why I usually write a check instead. My guiding rule is the Golden Rule...I seek to just treat YOU the way I'd like to be treated. Simple. Shipments to foreign countries is a tricky thing. Priority is ridiculously expensive, and International Mail seems to work fine. I am honest in reporting on the customs forms the value of your order. Any customs fees your country assesses is just part of website ordering. Rebate checks do not work for foreign customers, therefore strongly consider paying with PayPal if you live in a country other than the U.S. That way, I can easily send you back any significant shipping discrepancy. I can NOT do this via credits to Credit Cards. I have no way of knowing exactly how long delivery to your country will take - and there is no tracking with International Mail. Sometimes it gets there amazing quickly, other times it can take 4-6 weeks. I do supply you with the customs label number when sending you shipping notification. l cannot assume responsibility for foreign shipments being delivered. If you live in a country outside the USA - order understanding the risk. Usually, shipments find their way without any problem, but I want to be up front about the possibilities of extended delivery time. Please understand that placing your order does authorize additional shipping charges to be assessed before I ship when the fee is $6 or more over what you have paid. Of course, I email you for your permission before making an additional charge. When your order ships, I always send you an email to let you know, including method of shipping and tracking number if it exists. Payment Accepted I accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and Discover and personal checks. However, please note that with orders paid by check or PayPal e-Checks, I DO WAIT FOR THE CHECK TO CLEAR before shipping. At consumer shows, I do NOT accept personal checks. In the event that your order total is ultimately for LESS THAN YOU WERE BILLED on your credit card (for example, something was out of stock, or now discontinued, etc. etc.) my business policy is to issue you a REFUND BUSINESS CHECK with your order.  Issuing refunds actually costs me money with my processor, therefore to keep my prices as low as possible, I issue refund checks.  Since checks on US Banks aren't generally accepted for foreign orders, I have to issue refunds on those - but ONLY for foreign orders. Thanks for your understanding.      Backorder Policy I the event an item you have ordered is placed on backorder -meaning I cannot get it from my supplier in within 1 week - be assured I will notify you and ask your desire - if we should cancel and refund at that time, or if you are OK with waiting.  Please understand that when you place an order it is charged in completion. It would cause substantial additional fees with the credit card company to credit for backordered items and then charge again when they come in, so I do that is not my business policy.   I refund for unavailable items with a business check for all domestic orders when it is for a portion of a complete order. Since business checks do not work for foreign orders, I have no option but to issue credit when the order is paid for with a credit card and not PayPal.   I only credit to the credit card company when I cannot fill an order at all for some reason, and very quickly after the order is placed. This is my policy to keep administration costs down in order to offer lower prices on many items, and the frequent discounts and sales.  Thanks for your understanding. RETURN Policy Other than cut yardage, anything is returnable within 1 week after you receive it. Please email me your request and reason for returning. HOWEVER, shipping fee to return is at your expense. Refund will be made with a business check mailed to you - NOT on your credit card, as this costs me money...again. Yep! Many don't understand that, but it is true...therefore my policy. If you want a refund via Paypal, that is fine - as sending money there does not cost me money. Thanks for your understanding.
