Schmetz Topstitching Needles

Extra long eye on this needle.  Topstitch, heavy, multiple or poor quality threads are accommodated.  Achieve perfectly straight stitch lines and even stitches when using a straight stitch throat plate.  (single hole) 

No color coded band on this needle.

Londa says:  "An extra sharp needle with an extra large eye and a large groove to accommodate topstitch thread. Should be used where a larger eye size is beneficial.

I think the most amazing thing I ever made my machine (Pfaff) do was with Cindy Loosekamp's class at my shop where she had us use the topstitch needles and a heavier cotton thread and we did edgings that looked for all the world like tatting!  Still have that pillowcase and will always keep it and marvel.  If you ever get a chance to take a class from Cindy, DO IT!"
