• At a recent  sewing expo in Indianapolis, I had a run on the new Double Eye Needles from Schmetz.  Lyla Messinger has played with these new marvels alot and is highly recommending them.   With all the embellishment and fancy stitching on garments right now - I think these are well worth playing with!  My needles are really well priced - many are 25% below regular store pricing - EVERY DAY! 
  

• Topaz Thread is one I always have on hand - for jeans alterations.  This is the most common 'orange' jeans stitching thread I can find.  It works great in a Topstitching Needle - size 90.  

• We're all thinking FASHION these days - about time to put away the spring/summer clothes and haul out the winter ones - at least here in central Illinois where the weather has been beautiful - finally a bit cool and brisk.  I treated myself to some evenings with some fashion magazines - read and see my conclusions at my BLOG recent posts!
