April 5, 2011For a VIDEO Email added 4-6-2011 about new TRIM and Embellishment ideas, click HERE Sew..........Where oh Where has Londa been???Well... not home writing newsy newsletters, that's for sure! Since the end of February, I have been on 10 airplane rides in 3 weeks' time (and grateful they were safe flights!). - Teaching, vending, having fun at the Creative Sewing & Stitchery Expo in Puyallup, Washington with friend and helper Kathy...
- Taping an episode as a guest designer for It's Sew Easy... a new sewing PBS show starting in June.... Watch for more on that later, and how YOU can help make sure it is aired on YOUR PBS station.
- Teaching, vending, and having some memory-making 'experiences' at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Lakeland, FL with new friend Elaine and her hubby, Dave...what SAVIOURS they were! You must go to my BLOG HERE to read about THAT exciting experience! In summary, 4 of 7 boxes shipped from Puyallup 1 1/2 weeks previous were 'lost' in the UPS system... but, thankfully, I DID have my jacket samples!Â
- Teaching, vending and having a more 'normal' show at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Schaumburg, ILÂ with sidekick Gloria...

1. SILK PRICES are staged to increase significantly... due to India razing many mulberry forests (silk worms are fed mulberry leaves) in order to plant faster $-making Cotton crops.Â
2. Japanese disaster will be affecting pricing on metal products (scissors! - Kai + others) AND other quilting products.... a reason to add to those stashes NOW, girls! Yet, that seems so shallow in comparison to that country's challenges. Join me in praying for and supporting them in any way we can.

I Celebrated one of those 'once a year EVENTS' (ala Birthday) last week, so treated myself to shopping Vogue Patterns online. Hit the jackpot though @ just $3.99 that night! EEEEEKsssss.  AND, anticipating the excuse to treat myself, 'invested' in some beautiful fabrics over my travels...and NOT for jackets, but for some great T's, and fun, feminine DRESSES!! Check out my choices (patterns and fabrics) at my BLOG!Â

It's been a LONG Cold Winter here in Central Illinois - but just as God is faithful, Spring is finally upon us! I have a bouquet of daffodils here at my desk smiling at me. And... waiting to be cleaned up from my flower beds is lots of my Moon Flower seed pods. If you want some - just note that in the COMMENTS section of your order and I'll stick some seeds in with your order as long as they last! Beware - these little seeds grow HUGE viney- type Jack n' the Bean Stalk greenery, but the white huge morning glory type flowers that bloom in the night are amazing! Watch this 1 minute movie of the God's power opening up a bud in one minutes' time!Â
